Our ServSafe Manager training meets the CT Department of Health requirements for food safety licensing. Managers need to know food safety and the critical importance of its role and how to share food safety knowledge with every employee. This course will cover all aspects of safely managing the flow of food in a practical, applicable manner.
According to the 2017 FDA Food Code, every foodservice operation is required by the State of Connecticut to employ and have on site during all shifts a Certified Food Protectin Manager (CFPM), formerly known as a Qualified Food Operator, whose responsibilities not only include food safety, but staff training as well. The Connecticut Restaurant Association (CRA) offers the ServSafe Food Safety Manager, with certification by the National Restaurant Association. (view Full 2019 Schedule here.) Our instructors have an excellent record of success, with close to 90% of learners passing the ServSafe Manager exam on their first attempt. Our instructors will prepare you to get certified!
This national program has already certified over 750,000 professionals, preparing them to operate safer, more profitable facilities. The ServSafe seminar is conducted throughout Connecticut in one 8-hour session in a professional conference atmosphere. Attendee materials, textbook & practice test, exam, certificate, and lunch is included in the seminar fee.

All registrations should be received more than one week prior to class date. Online registration will close at least 5 days prior to class. Upon receipt of registration CRA will mail the course materials to the address provided. Your materials should be reviewed prior to the class. The instructor will assume the student has read the textbook and completed the included Diagnostic Test before attending the course. For this reason, NO WALK INS are permitted.
Cancellation Policy: This class is non-refundable, if you need to reschedule for any reason you must do so within 5 days of your scheduled class to be moved to another date. If you do not attend the class without proper notification you will be required to pay the $65 reschedule fee.
